Meet the Faces Behind the Mission
Riley Fife | Marketing & Communications Manager
It is a dream to have a driven person like Riley be a part of the FG team. Riley is a natural leader and team player, consistently pitching creative ideas and concepts to support our marketing and communications efforts. She has a heart of gold and it shows in the way she carries herself, both professionally and personally.
Riley grew up in the Austin area, where she graduated high school and first offered her time and skills to the non-profit world. Since 2016, and every year since, she has been involved with HOBY Youth Leadership, demonstrating her selfless dedication to charitable organizations. She has helped this organization with their recruitment team and facilitating groups of students for various programs for six years.
In a swift three years, Riley graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in Communications. Her focus was in Public Relations and Event Management, and minored in Business and Technical Writing. Riley first got involved with Finnleigh’s Grace during her Senior Capstone course at Tarleton State University. In this course, students spent the semester working with a client to support their marketing, communications, and event planning needs. Finnleigh’s Grace was the only option offered that was in the non-profit sector and she instantly knew she wanted to spend her time contributing to the growth of this new non-profit organization.
Towards the end of the semester, Riley asked the team if she could stay on and continue her involvement with Finnleigh’s Grace. “It was a no-brainer,” Tedi stated, “Riley is such an asset to our team. She works hard, conceives strong ideas, and adapts to the always changing environment of a newer non-profit. Riley is a genuine soul.”
“Finnleigh’s Grace is important to me because pool safety is something that is not talked about nearly as often as it should be - drowning is preventable and no family should have to go through the pain of losing a loved one to a drowning accident.”
It is significant that we, as a non-profit, effectively communicate our purpose and mission. Riley’s commitment to executing on this is the result of a combination of talent, passion, and ambition.
“I hope to educate more people about the importance of water safety, raise money to facilitate more pool safety gate installations, and prevent pool drownings in the North Texas community.”
